ABOUT TANGI
Born in Safi, Morocco, September 1953, immigrated to Israel in 1954.
Graduated from a technical high school. Military service in the Engineering Corps.
An autodidact in his soul. Sculpture is at his core.
He broke out into the public eye most forcefully in 2015.
His work is constantly innovative.
WORK
Sculptures demonstrating movement of animals with the emphasis on colorfulness, use of diverse materials combined with oxides, salts, glass and glazes.
The artistic vision is characterized by a collection of details into a group of animals which characterizes the family cell.
The product is made of ceramics combined with 24 carat gold.
An additional artistic aspect is the use of rocks from the Land of Israel combined with various types of rocks to define animals.
The artworks are constructed in a variety of sizes for private and public uses
